You should let me go to this party. You won’t have to worry about me going crazy and doing something I would regret. I’m very responsible. You know that I always finish my homework before relaxing and I always study very hard. I can control myself. Remember when there was an open bag of Cheetos (my favorite) but I didn’t eat any even though my friends were all eating them because you told me not to? I won’t do anything illegal. You know that I’m a strict rule follower. I’ve never gotten into trouble in school.

Pathos

I deserve this break. I’ve worked hard all semester and I got good grades. Would you deny your deserving daughter this opportunity to celebrate the end of the year with her friends?

Logos

20 people out of my 24 people class are going. Anyone who doesn’t go will be considered antisocial. I don’t want to be antisocial. Therefore, I must go to the party to avoid that negative label.
